  Amrita for Life Project Essay   “When was the last time, we actually used an herbal cure to cure our illness?” The truth is, we have turned to chemical treatments which are more costly, not environment friendly and has side-effects on the human body. Ayurveda and Herbal treatments is a go-to solution for us-– cost effectively and treats more than one ailments. These herbal treatments are comparable to the divine hands of the almighty to help the common man. One such pair of divine hands is the Giloy (Guduchi) plant. It has various benefits, which are yet unknown to the masses. Studies have demonstrated that different parts of giloy plants are full of antioxidants and phytochemicals It is used in the treatment and curing of many diseases and known as panacea for all the diseases and disorders.  1.        Boosts immunity of the body purifies the blood and fights bacteria- Giloy boosts immunity. Combats liver diseases and urinary tract infection. Rejuvenates the body. 2.

Nothing’s impossible for the huge population of dedicated and responsible Indians. India is the perfect embodiment of harmony in diversity. We always hold our heads up high with a sense of purpose. From rocketry, to biotechnology, Indian Education always ranks high. Our inexhaustible mine of natural resources has always been a source of pride for us. The

  That day I took a stroll Down the green park lane Something suddenly   swung down from a pole With a pair of cheeky eyes and a magnificent mane   I realized it was a chimpanzee Staring back wildly at me With roving eyes and quick limbs Before I could realize, it was upon me!   I wanted to scream out loud But those furry little paws Which quickly scurried about Comforted me, rather than hurt like a pair of claws.   I realized chimpanzees were our friends Primates, apes, gorillas and all They are our long-lost ancestors Our furry mischievous imps Love them, they love you back Trouble them, they trouble you back   But primates never fail to make trouble and make happiness double!!
