Sister: A companion for life

Just a second in my life,

Turned me upside down,

I had no one in my life,

My smile turned in to frown

 

A shoulder to cry on,

A tear to shed with

A person to share knowledge

And worries with

 

Then came a divine angel

With golden hair and wings

Who helped me a lot

And made me fly in the sky

 

She was.....

I felt lost in the darkness

I had no light to guide me,

I fell into depression

That fateful second changed my identity

 

I went to my friends,

They turned their backs on me

I went to my cousins

They all made me flee

 

Then came a fairy

With dazzling eyes

Smile on her face was a must

As she had come to help the just

 

She was........

I thought I saw a light

But didn’t believe my eyes

I thought out loud

Who would want a person who just dies?

 

But a voice came

I thought

But it was real

And it was crystal clear

I thought

Voice from heaven perhaps

It was divine

 

She was......

I found myself on a lap

As soft as a flower

As fragrant as a flower

And hair like a shower

For the flower

 

I prayed with closed eyes

And soon realized

That

It was …

I saw the god in her

I saw the friend in her

I believed in her as she believed in me.

  POLITICAL AWARENESS EXAM TO VOTE India is a democratic country, and it has granted every citizen the right to vote in India under the Constitution of India. It does not judge its citizens on the grounds of caste, religion, gender, region, or language. Being the second most populous country in the world, almost more than half the population (city dwellers) do not exercise their right to vote. Then how do the political party get their power to rule? The reason behind this is village life. They are the ones who vote because the candidate has promised them something in return like decreased agricultural taxes, improvised machinery for making their life simpler etc. If we make them write exam, then they will become hesitant to write the exam just to vote as they will be afraid that they might fail.
