Going down the memory lane, looking back at the achievements of India, any Indian would feel proud. Being a torchbearer in various fields from ancient medicine to the latest technology, we Indians have always topped the table. Indians are spread all over the world, inspiring people and creating an impact. For the colossal number of achievements India has accumulated over the years, all credit is due to our forebears. We value honesty, and our lives are defined by the ideals of justice and loyalty. Come rain or hail, our Indian farmers toil hard day by day to feed the world. Nothing’s impossible for the huge population of dedicated and responsible Indians. India is the perfect embodiment of harmony in diversity. We always hold our heads up high with a sense of purpose. From rocketry, to biotechnology, Indian Education always ranks high. Our inexhaustible mine of natural resources has always been a source of pride for us. The world will always be grateful to India, for the gift of global pioneers who have done ground-breaking work in all industries. We may be diversified, but our hearts beat as one, from beginning, until the very end.

  POLITICAL AWARENESS EXAM TO VOTE India is a democratic country, and it has granted every citizen the right to vote in India under the Constitution of India. It does not judge its citizens on the grounds of caste, religion, gender, region, or language. Being the second most populous country in the world, almost more than half the population (city dwellers) do not exercise their right to vote. Then how do the political party get their power to rule? The reason behind this is village life. They are the ones who vote because the candidate has promised them something in return like decreased agricultural taxes, improvised machinery for making their life simpler etc. If we make them write exam, then they will become hesitant to write the exam just to vote as they will be afraid that they might fail.  Dear readers, Here are a few facts I have compiled from the blockbuster adaptation of Ponniyin Selvan novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Enjoy! 1. The legendary actor and former CM of TN, M.G.R  had wanted to play a role in the film adaptation of PS, back in the 1950s. Many other legends have yearned for a role in this mega blockbuster movie, but in vain. 2. The discussions for the film adaptation by Mani Ratnam has been going on for more than 20 years and had finally started filming pre-covid in 2019. 3. The film is set in 900 to 950 AD in the administrative capital of the Chola Dynasty- Thanjai AKA Tanjore and also in Kadambur. 4.
