 Thai manne Vanakkam!


An amazing show, coordinated  by Sashini Manikandan, put up by the talented girls of Grade 9, to fascinate these words, was well received by the audience. The show started off with our Tamil compere, Sameeha and English compere, Hiba welcoming the audience. Our students served the trademark filter coffee of TN to our audience, relishing which the audience enjoyed the show. The performance began with a stunning visual treat of the oldest classical dance, Bharatnatyam by our Bharatnatyam exponent, Harsha. It was succeeded by a beautiful rendition of the Vara Veena by lead Sashini, Adhwaitha and Meenakshi. Succeeding which, a nail-biting gripping fight between our born warriors in traditional silambam fight, Thanaa and Sarah. A beautiful skit showcasing the best of the Southern state, Tamil Nadu was role played and progressed on to the beautiful folk dance of Kummi. An expressive semi-classical dance of Kannodu Kanbathellam was performed by Sriya and Adhwaitha. Progressing on to a high-beat dance of Pistah, the theme song for IPL 2016, led by Sashini, Meenakshi, Sriya, Isna and Aditi. And culminating in the grand finale dance of Thai Kelavi by the entire troupe.

The performance won the audience's hearts instantly, ending with a series of applauses and appreciation from the entire judging panel.

  POLITICAL AWARENESS EXAM TO VOTE India is a democratic country, and it has granted every citizen the right to vote in India under the Constitution of India. It does not judge its citizens on the grounds of caste, religion, gender, region, or language. Being the second most populous country in the world, almost more than half the population (city dwellers) do not exercise their right to vote. Then how do the political party get their power to rule? The reason behind this is village life. They are the ones who vote because the candidate has promised them something in return like decreased agricultural taxes, improvised machinery for making their life simpler etc. If we make them write exam, then they will become hesitant to write the exam just to vote as they will be afraid that they might fail.
