POLITICAL AWARENESS EXAM TO VOTE

In the present political scenario, many parties win because of bribing the people. They bribe and the people vote in turn for them. This is wrong and will make the entire society corrupt. Corruption can be stopped when the people vote for whoever they think will be ideal for the post and not the one who can afford to pay money.

This shows that only the rich can have power. The poor can never come to the top. However good they are, their ideas, schemes are brought of by the richer ones, and they put their names instead of the real ideator.

They don’t have knowledge of which candidate they are voting for. Giving a political awareness exam removes corruptive influence from society and the voters study why they would want to vote for the party.

Every choice the citizen makes has a huge impact on the entire society. Often, they regret choosing a candidate after coming to power for they would not honor their promises. The poor people are being bribed to such an extent, that they believe they would be able to live a comfortable life later on, but it is the same government that increases the tax rate because they have given away all their money for bribing. This is a cycle that requires a distinct vision to see the aftereffects which would impact the entire society as a whole.

 

 

Bribery should be penalized, and strict laws should be enforced to stop voting frauds. This can be done through this exam. That’s why I strongly support this exam.

    True! Definitely, bribery should be penalized and the public must be made aware of political scams prevalent in the country

  POLITICAL AWARENESS EXAM TO VOTE India is a democratic country, and it has granted every citizen the right to vote in India under the Constitution of India. It does not judge its citizens on the grounds of caste, religion, gender, region, or language. Being the second most populous country in the world, almost more than half the population (city dwellers) do not exercise their right to vote. Then how do the political party get their power to rule? The reason behind this is village life. They are the ones who vote because the candidate has promised them something in return like decreased agricultural taxes, improvised machinery for making their life simpler etc. If we make them write exam, then they will become hesitant to write the exam just to vote as they will be afraid that they might fail.
